Your data, looked after

The short version: we don’t sell it, we only keep what we need, and we look after it carefully.

  1. KustoCon is run by volunteers from the KQL Café community. We treat your data the way we’d want ours treated.
  2. We only collect what we need to run the event: your name and email when you register on Meetup or write to us through the contact form.
  3. We never sell, rent or trade your data. Not to sponsors, not to anyone.
  4. Sponsors don’t get the attendee list. If you want to talk to a sponsor, you decide that yourself.
  5. Tickets are handled by Meetup and payments by PayPal; their own privacy policies apply to what you give them.
  6. The site uses Microsoft Clarity to see which pages work and which don’t, and reCAPTCHA to keep spam out of the contact form.
  7. Microsoft Switzerland building security checks your photo ID at the door; we don’t keep a copy.
  8. Sessions may be recorded or photographed. If you’d rather not appear, tell an organiser on the day.
  9. We delete registration data we hold once the event is wrapped up and no longer needed.
  10. Want to see, correct or remove your data? Use the contact form and we’ll sort it out.
